A weekend away for the whole family to Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp We had a fantastic time as families connected with one another. Dispite the 35W slow down, we all made it and were able to recharge the batteries of life and faith. With a special thanks to our speakers for the weekend, Jim and Lynne Jackson, the families were given tools to help vision how to be better parents in today's world. The rain on Saturday didn't keep us from have a weekend to remember. In fact, it invited families to spend creative time together (and we were grateful for the much needed rain). The dance Saturday evening with DJ MO was just the right amount of Chicken Dance/YMCA/Hokey. Some sleepy little eyes on Saturday night were replaced with sad eyes on Sunday as we had to leave. Thanks to Okoboji and the staff for your Kingdom work and blessings on the rest of your summer.
